If golf has been an important part of your life, then we believe there is no better way to ensure that your love of golf is shared with people who may not otherwise have the opportunity.
Of course family and loved ones must come first, but if life has been good to you, you can give a part or the entire residue of your estate. This is the remainder of your estate once all your loved ones and charges have been paid. A residuary gift could be a percentage or the whole of the residue of your estate.
To donate a percentage of your estate:
“I give to Empower Golf Australia Ltd (ABN 18 601 193 122), for its general purposes, free of all duties XXX% [Specify percentage] of my residuary estate for which an authorised receipt from Empower Golf Australia will be a sufficient discharge for the executor(s) or trustee.”
To donate the remainder of your estate to Empower Golf:
“I give to Empower Golf Australia Ltd (ABN 18 601 193 122), for its general purposes, free of all duties the whole of the residue of my estate for which an authorised receipt from Empower Golf Australia will be a sufficient discharge for the executor(s) or trustee.”
You can also leave an exact sum of money to us.
“I give to Empower Golf Australia Ltd (ABN 18 601 193 122), for its general purposes, free of all duties the sum of $XXX [Specify amount] for which an authorised receipt from Empower Golf Australia will be a sufficient discharge for the executor(s) or trustee.”
You may wish to leave us a particular item (known as a specific bequest), which can be sold to support our work, or passed onto a disabled person. It could be real estate or an item of value such as art, a piece of jewellery, or golfing memorabilia or equipment.
“I give to Empower Golf Australia Ltd (ABN 18 601 193 122), for its general purposes, free of all duties my XXX [Specify Items] for which an authorised receipt from Empower Golf Australia will be a sufficient discharge for the executor(s) or trustee”
